 PT. Tanjung was established in 1971 in Jakarta, Indonesia operating liner between Jakarta and Belawan Carrying general carago and commodities. The company maintained a steady growth and by 1990 PT. Tanjung owned 11 vessels consisting of 7 general cargo vessels, 3 Pure Car Carrier and 1 oil tanker.
PT. Tanjung prides itself as being flexible and innovative in the ever changing maritime environment. Thus we were one of the first shiping companies in Indonesia to carry Containerized cargo. To embrace our customer, we do not only offer containerized services, but we maintained our fleet to accomodate to the needs of bulk cargoes.
Today, we operates weekly liner services between Jakarta, Belawan, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, and Ujung Pandang ports. In our effort to become a fully integrated shipping company, we also established our own stevedoring, freight forwarding and logistics companies. This enables our customer to have a one stop solution for all their shipping and logistics needs. |
